My favorite type of candy is Resse’s. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are a candy consisting of chocolate and peanut butter filling. The candy is American-made and owned by “The Hershey Company.” A worker at Hershey was the creator of Reese’s. The candy gets its name from its creator H.S. Reese. Other candies I have enjoyed in the past are Twix & Kit Kat’s bars.

The oldest candy shop I could find is “Shane Confectionary” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Shane Confectionary was founded in 1863. Over the years the Confectionary has gone through different ownership, closing for a period of time and, reopening. The shop is now currently open and has expanded with a chocolate cafe along with, an ice cream bar on the same street.
Candy can be healthy but not from sugar. Dark chocolate has some health benefits like antioxidants which are good for your cardiac health. Cocoa beans also help slow certain types of cancer because of a chemical inside them. Overall, in moderation candy is okay to eat.
